Autism Friendly screenings:

Vue – Rhyl. Autism friendly screenings on the Last Sunday of every month at 10.15 AM.

Cineworld – Llandudno Junction. Autism friendly screenings on the First Sunday of every month.

The screenings are Autism friendly where subtle changes are made to the traditional cinema environment have been made, namely

  • Lights are left on low.
  • The sound is turned down.
  • Trailers and adverts are not played.
  • It’s okay for people to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.

Connect Disco

Held every other Monday night

Food is available to purchase on the night.

When? 7:00pm – 9:30pm

Cost? £4 per person (includes free raffle ticket)

Buzz Club

The Buzz Club is a weekly disco for Adults (age 16+) with disabilities.
Every Monday night from 7-9pm at Rhyl Town Hall, Wellington Road, Rhyl.

A great place for people with additional needs, and their friends and families, to come and have fun and meet new people.

The disco takes place every Monday night from 7-9PM and entry is £3 per service user. Please note that carers and family are free.

The Picasso Club

Arts and Crafts for adults with learning disabilities.

When: Tuesdays 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm.

Autism Initiatives

The Autism Initiatives Trampoline Club runs every Saturday afternoon in Prestatyn Leisure Centre (LL19 8RS)

2-3pm for Children aged 4-15

3-4pm for young people aged 16-25.

The cost of this activity is £2.50 per hour.

This activity is open to all young people with an ASC diagnosis and their families, including their siblings.

MS Society

Conwy and North Denbighshire group is one of more than 270 MS Society groups in the UK – run by volunteers working alongside local staff.

The services they offer include:

  • emotional and practical support
  • financial help
  • information events
  • social events

They also raise thousands every year to help people affected by MS living in our branch area.

They have also just set up a Boccia Club, which is open to everyone including wheelchair users, branch members and the local community.

Conwy Freewheelers

An adapted cycling and handcycling club founded in 2017 running events on the athletics track at Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay.

Suitable for individuals with learning, physical disabilities or sensory loss. Handcycling sessions also available for disabled athletes and individuals with physical impairments such as spina bifida, spinal injuries, and amputees.

Everyone is welcome, so come and join in with the fun and the fitness!



Boccia is an inclusive sport of precision and strategy played by many people worldwide.

The sport is played on a flat, smooth surface, where players must throw or roll coloured balls as close as possible to a white target ball, known as the “jack.” The player, pair or team with the most balls near the jack is the winner.
